LLR Resilience Forum welcomes new chair
An experienced fire chief has picked up the reins as the new chair of the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Resilience Forum (LRF).
Callum Faint, who is Chief Fire Officer at Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service, has taken over from Police Chief Constable, Rob Nixon, who has retired after being in the role for three years.
In the role, Callum brings together emergency services, councils, the NHS, Environment Agency and others to prepare for and respond to emergencies, and help communities to recover.
The Leicestershire Resilience Forum also works with other partners in the military and voluntary sectors who provide a valuable contribution to preparing for emergencies.
