Is your business ready for the unexpected?

Businesses can register their interest now for a new project to help boost their resilience.

The project, which will begin in the New Year, has been made possible after the LRF secured £10,000 of grant funding.

The initiative will focus on:

  • Raising awareness of resilience in the business community
  • Supporting businesses to connect and network around community resilience

Led by Cambridge Risk Solutions, the project will include:

  • The development of a simple, easy-to-follow toolkit for small and medium-sized businesses to enable them to enhance their own resilience/business continuity
  • An in-person event to launch the toolkit
  • Three webinars to help businesses understand the risks they face and what actions they can take to prepare
  • The development of ‘Business Community Response Plans’ in conjunction with local business networks to identify how business can support each other and their local communities during and following incidents
  • Sharing of resilience resources for business networks

Funding was awarded through the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government's LRF Innovation Grant scheme.

Businesses can register their interest for webinars, launch events or trialling the project tools, by emailing CommunityResilience@Leics.gov.uk
